2026 Youth Leadership Conference

St. Croix Electric Cooperative was thrilled to have a local student attend this year’s Youth Leadership Conference (YLC) at UW–Stout from July 14th–16th. Addison Gregg is a sophomore at Baldwin-Woodville High School. During the three-day conference, she participated in leadership activities, listened to guest speakers, took part in networking opportunities, attended a formal dinner, and enjoyed entertainment, including a hypnotist performance. The conference also included small-group sessions that focused on leadership development and provided a better understanding of electric cooperatives and the communities they serve. 

Throughout the conference, Addison had the opportunity to meet students from across Wisconsin, build new friendships, and learn valuable skills she can use in school and future leadership roles. The experience helped strengthen her confidence, communication, and teamwork skills while giving her a deeper understanding of cooperatives. She returned home with new connections, lasting memories, and ideas that will help her continue growing as a leader in her school and community.
