3rd Annual Member Appreciation Day!

SCEC hosted our Member Appreciation Day on Saturday, October 10, 2026. The weather was perfect and we had a great turnout. There were lots to do with safety demonstrations, a Junior Linemen Training Camp, face painting, exploring our vehicles, brats and hot dogs, and more.

Thank you to Hammond United Fire and Rescue for attending and letting the kids check out their vehicles. We would also like to thank the 2026 Syttende Mai Queen Katelyn Gustafson for helping make the day more memorable by providing face painting to our young attendees. Another big thank you to the Blackhawk Hockey Association for helping cook all of our brats and hotdogs for the event.

Events like Member Appreciation Day give us the opportunity to thank our members for their continued support and to share more about the work we do to serve our communities. We truly appreciate everyone who took the time to stop by, visit with us, and take part in the day’s activities. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this year’s Member Appreciation Day such a success. We enjoyed spending the day with you and look forward to seeing you again next year!
