SMARTHUB NOTICE: Upon accessing or signing into the app, Android users will be prompted with a screen to update their app via the app store and iOS users will see a message on the Home screen indicating an update is required. Users who have not updated to SmartHub Mobile 26.3 will be unable to utilize the app to make mobile payments once your organization's migration to CommerceHub is complete. Migrations are rolling throughout June 2026, with all NISC Members transitioned by end of June.

Operation Round Up Grants Awarded

SCEC Serves, Inc.

SCEC Serves, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit corporation that administers the funds from St. Croix Electric Cooperative's Operation Round Up program. The SCEC Serves, Inc. Board of Directors meets quarterly in March, June, September and December.

Applying for a Grant

 

Organizations that wish to apply for a SCEC Serves, Inc. grant are invited to submit an application (pdf) and email to grants@scec.coop, or fill out the online application form.  

Applications are reviewed quarterly by the SCEC Serves, Inc. board of directors. Third quarter 2026 applications must be submitted by Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Who can apply?

Applicants may apply for and be awarded grant amounts up to:

Individualsup to $3,000/annually
Family Unitsup to $5,000/annually
Organizationsup to $10,000/annually
  •  Please note: you do not need to be a 501c3 organization to apply. Organizations should benefit individuals and families within the communities served by St. Croix Electric Cooperative.
  • Grant awards will not exceed the above amounts annually for any one individual, family unit or organization.
  • No grant applications will be accepted for: emergency payment of electricity bills, or benefit requests.
  • Contributions will generally not be made for lobbying, political and religious organizations.
